About Us | Basecamp Multipurpose Community Center

The Story of Basecamp MCC

The Basecamp Multipurpose Community Center was developed and built by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) under the PROSPECTS programme, with funding provided by the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The center was established to address infrastructural deficits in social, educational, and recreational facilities within Nakivale. It serves as a hub to foster community resilience, promote social cohesion, and facilitate activities aimed at improving the quality of life for both refugees and host communities.
