The Multipurpose Community Center is a shared space in Basecamp, Nakivale, open to refugees and Ugandan neighbors. It brings training, business, sport, counselling and community meetings together. The ILO built it with funding from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and it is run with the community.

The Basecamp Multipurpose Community Center was created to close the gaps in social, educational and recreational spaces across the settlement and neighboring communities.
The center supports activities that improve quality of life for both refugees and host communities.
It was developed and built by the International Labour Organization (ILO) under its PROSPECTS programme, with funding from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
